Replying to a video message posted by the Mumbai Indians franchise Rohit Sharma thanked his IPL teammates for their birthday wishes while trolling Yuvraj Singh for his hairstyle. “Thank you so much guys @YUVSTRONG12 lockdown has worst-hit your hair”, Rohit Sharma tweeted on Friday.
Rohit Sharma has been very active on social media and has been keeping his fans entertained through live Instagram sessions with other cricketers while urging the people to stay at home during the nationwide lockdown.
Rohit recently had live Instagram chat with former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and the duo talked about various topics ranging from Coronavirus Pandemic and also reflected their respective cricket careers. During the interaction, Sharma reveals that Yuvraj Singh was his cricket crush when he started his career and for the first time walked into the dressing room.
“When I came into the team cricket my crush & inspiration was Yuvraj Singh. I always wanted to talk to him & see how he prepares for the game and what he does”, Rohit Sharma said.
Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Mumbai Indians franchise, he is the most successful captain in the history of IPL as he led Mumbai Indians to hail four titles. The star batsman was also going to lead the Mumbai Indians franchise in the IPL 2020 league but due to the increasing threat of COVID-19, the BCCI has decided to postpone the IPL league indefinitely on April 16.
