Cricket News India – WTC 2023 Final is standing next door & Team India doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned to win the marquee event. In order to gear up for the marquee event, Indian team players such as Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, & Mohammed Siraj will leave for England by 23rd May. While players such as Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Ajinkya Rahane, Shubman Gill, and Mohammed Shami will depart for England after the conclusion of IPL 2023, by the end of May.
Virat Kohli & Mohammed Siraj were a part of the RCB team which failed to qualify for the playoffs after suffering a defeat at the hands of Gujarat Titans on May 21. So they are free to leave early for England to prepare for WTC 2023 final. These players would reach England by 25-26 & would begin their preparation for the marquee event. On the other hand, Mukesh Kumar who has been named among the reserve players will be flying along with Akash Deep, Yarra Prithviraj & Aniket Choudhury who have been selected as new bowlers for the Indian team.
Umesh Yadav & Jaydev Unadkat are fit to participate in WTC 2023 Final
As per reports from a leading media firm, Umesh Yadav & Jaydev Unadkat are declared fit to travel to England & participate in WTC 2023 Final. For the unversed, both the pacers were suffering from injuries & were ruled out of the IPL 2023. However, they are now fit & available for WTC Final. Unadkat was ruled out for the entire tournament while Umesh was out of the league in the second half of the tournament. But they are now completely fit & ready to feature in the WTC 2023 Final.
WTC 2023 Final will begin on June 7 at the Oval in London. Australian players Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne have already reached London and are participating in the County Championship 2023 while other players who are a part of IPL 2023 will soon reach Australia after the conclusion of IPL 2023.
