Cricket Australia (CA), the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are reportedly engaging in discussions to establish this global T20 tournament.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Nick Hockley and Mike Baird, the CEOs of CA, held meetings with executives from the BCCI and the ECB during the World Test Championship final and the Ashes Test at Lord’s. Further discussions took place at the recent ICC conference in South Africa.
