


Men’s Indian Team Captain Virat Kohli congratulated Harmanpreet led Women’s Indian Team for their outstanding performance and reaching the finals of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia by saying that the squad performance is something to be proud of!
Team India made straight to the finals, all thanks to its superior group stage record after the Semi-final clash got abandoned at Sydney Cricket Stadium due to rains. Kohli took to his Twitter handle to congratulate Women in blue, “Congratulations to the Indian Women’s Team on qualifying for @T20WorldCup finals. We are proud of you girls and we wish you all luck for the finals”, Kohli tweeted.
Former Indian Opener Virendra Sehwag also took to his Twitter Handle to congratulate Women in Blue for reaching the finals of the ICC World Cup and wishing them luck for the finals which is scheduled to be played on Sunday in Melbourne. “ A reward for winning all the matches in the group stage. Congratulations @BCCIWomen and wishing you glory this Sunday #T20WorldCup”, Sehwag tweeted.
Former India test specialist VVS Laxman tweeted, “It would have been great to see the match but many congratulations to @BCCIWomen for making it to the finals of the #T20WorldCup. A reward for winning 4 out of 4 in the group stages. Wishing the girls the very best for the finals on #Women’s Day”.
