


Indian Captain Virat Kohli recently took to Twitter to inform his fans that he never claimed to be a Vegan, stressing that he has always said that he is a vegetarian. Virat Kohli’s response comes after he conducted a question-answer session in which he said that he includes egg whites in his diet.
“I never claimed to be vegan. Always maintained I’m vegetarian. Take a deep breath and eat your Veggies (if you want),” Kohli tweeted. During a Q & A session on Instagram, Kohli answered various interesting questions ranging from his diet to quarantine routine to his relationship with former India captain MS Dhoni.
During the Q & A session, a fan asked the Indian Captain about his routine during quarantine to which Kohli replied, “Train once a day. Spend time with family. Pretty normal.” Another fan has asked him about his diet during the sessions. To which Virat Kohli answered that his diet comprises of “lots of vegetable, some eggs, 2 cups of coffee, dal, quinoa, lots of spinach, love dosa too”. In the end, he also highlighted that it’s pretty important to make sure that whatever he eats is “controlled quantities”.
With the high fitness standards which Kohli has set for himself & his fans, it is pretty obvious that fans who idolize Virat Kohli intrigued about his diet. But now Virat’s response has put all the rumors of him being vegan to rest!
Virat Kohli & Co will depart for London on June 3 along with their families in a Chartered plane. Recently the UK government has given permission to the Indian players of both Men and Women squads to travel with their family members on the UK tour.
The Indian Cricket team is scheduled to play the much-awaited World Test Championship final against New Zealand in Southampton starting from June 18. Followed by a five-match test series against England starting from August till September. Upon their arrival in Southampton, the squad will undergo 10 days strict quarantine before resuming their training for the test series.
