Virat Kohli became the first Indian player to register the highest individual score in the T20I format. Virat Kohli achieved this glorious milestone after completing his 71st International ton during India’s fixture against Afghanistan in Dubai. He smashed 122 runs in 61 balls with 12 fours & six sixes against Afghanistan today at the grounds of Dubai.
With this massive score, Virat has overtaken the highest T20I score of 118 runs registered by Rohit Sharma against Sri Lanka in 2017. Followed by 117 by Suryakumar Yadav against England in 2022, Rohit Sharma’s 111 not out against West Indies in 2018, and an unbeaten 110 by KL Rahul against West Indies in 2016.
Virat Kohli became the second player to score 3,500 T20I runs
Star Indian batter, Virat Kohli added one more accolade to his name by becoming the second cricketer to complete 3,500 runs in the T20I format.
