Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen took to Instagram & shared the video of one of the best shots that he has played during his career. Siddhant Kapoor has also commented on Pietersen’s video & termed him as a ‘trendsetter’.
Kevin Pietersen’s fearless form of batting has helped him to won fans across the world especially in India. On Saturday the Bollywood Star Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant Kapoor termed the former cricketer as a trendsetter after Pietersen posted a video of him playing a shot on Instagram & sharing that it is one of its best shot ever. In the video, Pietersen can be seen playing the ‘flamingo’ shot against Sri Lanka to counter their tactics of deploying an off-side heavy field to stop him from scoring freely.
“This was one of the best shots which I had ever played in my career. I was playing against SriLanka bowling to a 7/2 offside and hanging the ball outside offside. True to form, I got a bit impatient and wanted to score…so there she goes! #flamingo,” Kevin Pietersen captioned his video.
Siddhant Kapoor the son of actor Shakti Kapoor reacted to Pietersen’s post & said that he still prefers Pietersen’s trademark reverse sweeps & labeled the England batsman as a “trendsetter”.
“You played some amazing shots KP, I still prefer those reverse sweeper sixers over mid-wicket #trendsetter,” Siddhanth Kapoor commented on Pietersen’s post. Kevin Pietersen is spending time at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
