


Shikhar Dhawan recently posted a video on Twitter where he is seen batting against his son Zoravar in the “Quarantine Premier League”, amid the ongoing lockdown.
Shikhar Dhawan like other cirketers and athletes is spending time at home amid the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. He took to Twitter to share a video of him batting against his beloved son Zoravar in what the Indian cricketer called as “Quarantine Premier League” match. Shikhar Dhawan captioned the video on the micro blogging site as, “Quarantine Premier League ka sabse gripping moment Dhawan Vs Dhawan”. The ongoing health crisis has put the entire world on a standstill. Major sports events across the globe has been cancelled or postponed as a measure to control the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.
Recently Shikhar Dhawan appealed people to help the animals during the lockdown. He posted a video on Twitter to talk about the problems that animals are facing at the present moment. “During this lockdown, a lot of animals who are dependent on us for their daily food are living hungry. There is a humble request to put some water or food bowls outside your homes from the safety of our homes to save the lives of these abandoned animals”, he said.
One of the major sector that has been affected by the ongoing Pandemic is the sports sector. IPL has been postponed until the further notice of the Government due to the COVID-19 crisis in the country. The IPL 2020 was scheduled to start from March 29th but currently has been postponed.
1,409 new cases and about 41 deaths has been reported in the last 24 hours. India’s total number of COVID-19 positive cases has reached the 21,393 mark on Thursday said the Ministry of Health and family Welfare.
Apart from cricket the Tokyo Olympics 2020 is also postponed by a year while the Tennis biggest Competition Wimbledon was cancelled for the first time since the World War II.
