


Kerala Police is making the use of Ravi Shastri’s ‘tracer bullet’ audio to track down the violators of Lockdown. Kerala police used the audio of Ravi Shastri’s tracer bullet challenge and tweeted a video that showed the campaign of spotting violators of lockdown rules using a drone.
Kerala Police Force has taken Ravi Shastri’s ‘tracer bullet’ challenge to a next level and used its audio as the background score of its ‘drone sightings’ campaign to stop people from violating lockdown rules which are currently imposed in India due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
Ravi Shastri was a renowned commentator before he took the position of head coach of the Indian cricket team, he had asked his fellow commentators to take ‘tracer bullet challenge’ a statement which he made famous during his commentary days.
Using the audio of the same challenge clip, Kerala Police tweeted a video clipping that showed their campaign of spotting and catching the violators of lockdown rules using the drone.
Looking at Kerala’s Police force innovative effort, Shastri tweeted on twitter, “Very innovative. Good Luck #TracerBulletChallenge #IndiaFightsCorona #COVID”, on his official twitter handle.
India head coach Ravi Shastri has been quite supportive in spreading awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic. He appealed people to stay indoors and support the Indian Government’s 21-days-lockdown which was implemented on March 25th. The lockdown will end on April 14th.
Earlier Ravi Shastri has called lockdown as ‘welcome rest’ for busy Indian players. The Pandemic has paused all the major sporting events across the globe. India- South Africa test series was called off in middle to control the spread of Coronavirus Pandemic and there is a chance of IPL 2020 to be called off looking at the ongoing lockdown situation.
