


CSK batsman Shane Watson has reached Dubai for the IPL & is now under seven days Quarantine as per the safety guidelines by UAE government.
CSK took to Twitter & shared a video message posted by Shane Watson in which Shane talks about how he will be spending time in isolation for the next seven days. CSK’s Official Twitter handle captioned the post & wrote, “Watto Man opens the innings with a 7!”
In the video, Shane Watson shows his hotel room which is facing the iconic Burj Khalifa. Watson in the video says, “I am going to do some exercises and walk up and down the room and get ready for the training camp of CSK”. He also said, “I am so excited to be back here for another IPL campaign”.
The former International player is the first player from CSK squad to reach Dubai for the IPL. In last year’s IPL final, the right-handed batsman played a brilliant knock of 80 from 59 balls but couldn’t help his team win the game.
The other players of CSK squad has boarded a flight for Dubai on Friday. Others teams like Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab reached the UAE on Thursday. On Friday, RCB’s Official Instagram account shared a picture of their squad taking a flight to UAE. The IPL 2020 will now commence in UAE from 19th September & finals is on 10th November 2020.
