CSK batsman Shane Watson is on his way to join his team players in the UAE for the upcoming IPL season. Shane Watson shared a post on his Instagram handle & wrote, “On my way to another exciting @iplt20 with @chennaiipl. This world is very different nowadays but we all have to do our part to stay safe and look after each other. #superexcited #newexperience”. The CSK is expected to leave for the UAE on August 21 & Dubai will have the base camp for the team.
The CSK squad is training themselves in Chennai & will look forward to board a flight to UAE on 21st August 2020. Earlier on Tuesday, Kings XI Punjab became the first franchise to leave for UAE to participate in the IPL. KL Rahul and Mohammed Shami took to Instagram to share photos with the team from their flight. Rajasthan Royals has also left for UAE on Tuesday by wearing PPE kits. It seems like all franchises players are geared up to return back to action with the IPL 2020.
The 53 days long tournament will now be commenced in UAE starting from September 19 & players from different franchises have also boarded their flight for the UAE which will now host the IPL matches having hosted some of the matches in 2014. For the first time in history of IPL, the final will be played on a weekday on November 10.
