Rohit Sharma has been very active on social media since the coronavirus enforced lockdown. Few days ago he was seen teasing Yuzvendra Chahal over his engagement & was also seen professing his love openly for his wife Ritika Sajdeh on Social Media.
However after enjoying a long “me” time with family, friends & fans now it’s time for Rohit Sharma to get back on field with the IPL 2020. Cricket is all set to resume with franchises started quarantining their player’s in-order to get them ready to leave for UAE to participate in the upcoming IPL season. To get himself back on track & rock the field with his bat, Rohit has again hit the gym as he revealed in his recent social media post. In a picture posted on Instagram, Rohit can be seen sweating it out in the gym – what he termed as “Going low only to push yourself higher.”
Rohit will lead the Mumbai Indians franchise & will look forward to take his team to win another IPL title as he did in 2019. Mumbai Indians are the only franchise to win the IPL for four consecutive years. The things & situation will be different for Indian Cricketers as they will be playing the IPL series away from their home ground in the heart of UAE. The IPL 2020 will begin on September 19 & finals is on November 10. The matches will be played across three cities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
The team players will undergo five rounds of testing before they will start their training in UAE as mentioned in the SOP shared by the BCCI with the franchises.
