Yuvraj Singh has retired from all forms of cricket after he got sure that he will not be selected by the team selectors to play in the Indian Squad for the upcoming World Cup & other crucial tournaments. So as Yuvraj has retired from cricket, he will not be a part of the Upcoming IPL season & will be watching the whole action right from the comfort of his home.
When Yuvraj Singh came to know that his teammate Rohit Sharma hit the gym he could not control the child like playfulness hidden inside him. Rohit has posted his gym workout picture with a caption, “Going low only to push yourself higher” & announced his comeback to the gym. “Finally hitman hits the gym,” Yuvraj commented, albeit tongue-in-cheek as the emoticon which clearly showed that Yuvraj is taking a hilarious dig on India’s Opener Batsman & while doing so he has also tagged their common friends Aneesh Gautam in the post.
Gautam is Yuvraj Singh’s Personal Manager & a “brotherman” to Rohit. We got this information from Gautam’s Instagram bio & this was also a joke between the trios which is shared to the whole world in a subtle way. Rohit is referred as a “hitman” for his ability to hit en number of sixes. He also has a record for hitting the highest number of sixes in an ODI innings until the 2019 World Cup when Eoin Morgan smashed 17 sixes in an innings against Afghanistan & snatched that spot from Rohit.
Rohit has three double hundreds to his credit in ODIs & is the one of the two Indian Batsmen who have scored centuries in all the three formats of cricket. He has made four T20Is centuries which is maximum made by any Indian Batsman.
In IPL also Rohit has a quite impressive record he comes third on the list of batsman who has scored highest runs in IPL with 4,898 runs registered on his name. Only Suresh Raina & Virat Kohli are ahead of the Mumbai Indians Captain on this list. Mumbai Indians franchise has won the IPL for four consecutive years & is looking forward to add the fifth title in his kitty with the IPL commencing from September 19 in UAE.
