


Sourav Ganguly recalled his Test debut with an old post but ended up getting involved into funny banter with former England Skipper Nasser Hussain.
Former Captain & current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter on Saturday & recalled the best moment of his life that is his Test Debut at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. Ganguly shared a photo collage of the snippets from his century at the iconic cricket ground from his first game in the longest format of the game. While fans went sentimental after seeing that post, Nasser Hussain England Captain tried to take a hilarious dig on BCCI President by asking about his bowling.
“No pictures of you bowling that week,” Nasser Hussain tweeted with a wink emoji. In reply to Nasser’s tweet, Ganguly replied in his own style which left the former England Captain in splits. “I always protect my dear friends @nassercricket,” Ganguly replied.
Nassre Hussain burst into laughter after the BCCI President’s reply & posted multiple emojis in the comments section. The friendly banter between the two renowned former skippers continued as Soura ganguly further posted a picture on twitter with Nasser Hussain where both captains can be seen posing with the Natwest Trophy.
Sourav Ganguly questioned Nasser about the whereabouts of the photograph. “Hi Nass .. when was this picture taken .. losing memory with old age …need my mates help @nassercricket,” Ganguly captioned the picture. After exchanging a few GIFs Ganguly appreciated Nasser Hussain for his humor.
Sourav Ganguly made his Test debut in the year 1996 & scored a century in his first game for India in the longest format of the game. The former Captain has played 113 Tests for team India & scored 7,212 runs at an average of over 42.
