Not only the fans but also the go-to-man of RCB, Virat Kohli was seen upset after failing to make it to the playoffs. His gleaming ton was overshadowed by Gill’s match-winning century. Despite being dejected the man with a golden heart didn’t fail to applaud Shubman Gill for his blistering knock. Batting first, RCB posted a decent 197 total on board. Thanks to a gleaming 101-run knock by Virat Kohli. But Virat’s efforts went in vain as Shubman Gill’s 104-run knock helped GT to chase the target in the last over of the fixture.

He was also seen throwing a water bottle in the dugout when GT was marching close to the target. After the fixture, he was seen embracing Gill and hugging him for his special knock. No doubt Virat is the King of hearts. Mumbai Indians Marches into the Playoffs, courtesy GT’s win over RCB
Five-time Champions Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets & moved quite close to playoffs. However, they got relief when GT defeated RCB in their last league stage fixture which helped Mumbai Indians to qualify for the playoffs.
Talking about Mumbai Indians clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai managed to chase a total of 201 runs in just 18 overs. It was all because of Cameron Green who returned with figures of 100 for 47 balls while Rohit Sharma too supported him by playing a knock of 57 runs off 37 balls. Green ton overshadowed Mayank’s 83 run-knock as they went on to chase the target with two overs to spare.
Mumbai Indians will next play an eliminator clash with Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday 24th May with the winner of the clash moving to the Qualifier 2 while the losing team will move out of the tournament.
