On Thursday at The Oval, in an exciting T20 Blast match between Surrey and Middlesex, England all-rounder Will Jacks displayed his incredible power-hitting skills. In the eleventh over, Jacks produced a fantastic turnaround by smashing Middlesex’s Luke Hollman for five consecutive sixes. However, his heroics went in vain as Middlesex’s batters produced a stunning show with the bat to pull off the second-highest run chase in T20 History.

Also, Laurie Evans added a quickfire 85 runs off 37 balls to Surrey’s huge score of 252/7.

However, Middlesex managed to pull off the second-highest run chase in T20 cricket history by persevering and being determined in their chase. With a dominating knock of 73 runs off 39 balls, skipper Stephen Eskinazi guided the attack and set the circumstances for a thrilling conclusion. Max Holden remained unbeaten on 65 off 38 balls and led Middlesex to a thrilling victory with just four balls left.
