COVID-19 Pandemic has forced the patients of coronavirus to stay in the Quarantine facility, but the people are playing cricket indoors in their Quarantine facility to keep up their spirits. Former South African Cricketer Jonty Rhodes revealed why he loves India “so much” sharing a viral video on Twitter in which a group of people were seen playing cricket in a Quarantine center.
The video has gone viral on the Internet as former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had also tweeted the same clip earlier on Twitter.
“People ask me often; “What is it about India that I love so much’ Need I say any more?” Jonty Rhodes captioned the video on Twitter. On Wednesday Omar Abdullah shared a video & wrote “Have space, will play. Quarantine time pass”, however, he didn’t reveal about the whereabouts about the video which was filmed.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the competitive cricket around the world is on a halt since March. Team India’s home series against South Africa was called off mid-way due to the coronavirus fear while the 13th edition of the IPL has been postponed indefinitely.
But there is a possibility of the IPL 2020 to be held in October-November only if the ICC postponed the T20 World Cup which is to be held in Australia. However, a decision on the destiny of the T20 World Cup was delayed until next month.
