In recent times, with very limited possibility of physical interactions, Live interactions have become the talk of the town for now. A lot of cricketers have seen to be a part of such dialogue with Irfan Pathan, the latest name added to the list.
Though Irfan Pathan decided to hang his boots earlier this year, there is still a strong urge in him to make that red cherry move and do the talking on the pitch.
Many felt that Irfan’s India career was cut-short having shown immense promise and potential at the start of his career, becoming India’s leading bowler. And what if he was inducted in the current setup alongside the pace battery of Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav?
Well, Irfan Pathan seemed pretty excited about the prospect in a recent Instagram Live interaction with a leading cricket portal’s reporter, where he also revealed the name of the current seamer he would have loved to bowl alongside. Sounding up-for-it, the 35-year-old lauded the current set and said that he would have loved to share the ball with Indian star pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
Jaspirt Bumrah has quickly come up the ranks and has established himself as India’s top bowler across formats and Pathan was quick to point that out and share his desire of what this partnership could have transpired into, for the Indian side.
