CPL & WCPL 2023 Player Draft to be Conducted on June 30

The Full Squads for the CPL 2023 & WPL 2023 will be revealed during the draft which will be broadcasted on CPL’s Facebook and YouTube pages at 10:30 am Eastern Caribbean Time on Friday 30 June. During the draft players as well as overseas signings for both the tournaments will be revealed. The show will be hosted by Alex Jordan & will feature Ian Bishop, Daren Ganga, and Anisa Mohammed giving their expert opinions on the squads for both CPL & WCPL 2023.

CPL 2023 is all set to Commence on August 16, Final on September 24

CPL 2023 is all set to commence on August 16 & will be played till September 24. The opener clash of the tournament will be played between St Lucia Kings & Defending Champions Jamaica Tallawahs at the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground. The 11th edition of the league will be played in caravan format. This means the tournament will kickstart in St Lucia Kings with six fixtures to be played at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground between August 16 to 20. The action will then shift to St Kitts & Nevis with six matches to be played at Warner Park between August 23 and 27.

The second phase of the tournament will be played in Barbados with six fixtures to be played at the Kennington Oval from August 30 to September 3. Then from September 5 to 10 the fixtures will be played in Trinidad & Tobago with four out of six fixtures will be of the home team, Trinbago Knight Riders. The conclusory phase of the tournament comprising eliminator & knockout fixtures will be played in Guyana from September 13 to 24. And the summit clash of CPL 2023 will be played on Monday, September 24 at the Providence Stadium at 4:30 AM IST.
