BAN vs AFG: The 15-member squad Bangladesh cricket team has been announced for the forthcoming one-off Test match against Afghanistan, which will take place on June 14. In replacement of captain Shakib Al Hasan, who suffered a broken finger during the ODI series against Ireland last month, veteran batter and wicketkeeper Litton Das has been handed the captaincy duties. Since Shakib’s return date continues to be unknown, an interim captain had to be picked for the important game.
Shahadat Hossain, 21, and Musfik Hasan, 20, are two young players on the team who have recently shown great talent and potential. Right-arm bowler Musfik picked up 38 wickets in 13 matches while playing first-class cricket.
