


England batsman Joe Denly has been ruled out of the Royal London Series against Ireland after suffering from severe back spasms in the training sessions the ECB said in its Official Statement on Friday.
In place of Joe the spectators will see Lancashire’s Liam Livingstone in the 14 member squad for the remaining two ODIs.
The ECB said in its Statement, “Joe Denly has been ruled out the Royal London Series against Ireland after suffering back spasms in training on Wednesday. The Kent batsman has been replaced in the 14-man England ODI squad by Lancashire’s Liam Livingstone”.
Livingstone has also represented England in two ODIs & will make his ODI debut if selected in the playing XI squad in the final two matches. England won the Opening match against Ireland by remarkable six wickets, the three ODI series will be held behind closed doors in a bio-secure environment at the Ageas Bowl stadium. The second ODI will be played on Saturday followed by a final match being played on Tuesday.
