Youth’s sensation Virat Kohli is everyone’s favourite and latest in the list of Kohli’s fans is Javed Miandad. He is a big fan of Virat Kohli’s batting and he has termed Indian Captain as his favourite batsman.
The former Pakistan Captain has chosen the current Indian Captain as his all time favourite due to his classy batting skill. He quoted as saying that Kohli’s record “itself tells a lot”.
Talking about the Indian squad on his Youtube channel Javed miadad he said that the current Indian Squad possess awesome talent which can be seen through their game strategy, he specially praised Kohli for his desireable stats and the way he achieved them.
Miandad said, “I was asked who the best in the Indian Cricket team is and undoubtedly I chose Virat Kohli”.
Further he added, “I don’t have to say much, his performance itself tells a lot. People have to admit this as stats are visible”.
He continued to praise Kohli and said, “You cannot say that Virat is afraid of fast-bowlers or he cannot play on bouncy pitchers or he cannot play spinners well. Virat really gave a fabulous performance in South Africa, on an uneven wicket he scored a hundred”.
Miandad who himself is an outstanding batsman, has scored 8832 runs in 124 test matches and 7381 runs in 233 ODIs for Pakistan. He stated that both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has made batting an easy skill!
One of the toughest and awesome cricketer Miandad is known for his outspokenness. Further appraising Kohli’s skills he said “Kohli is a clean hitter. Look at his shots, it feels so good to watch him bat. He has class”.
