


England’s Test captain Joe Root has become a father for the second time. Root has shared a photograph with the new born baby on Instagram. Joe Root is missing the first test match against West Indies as he wanted to be with his wife for the birth of their second child.
Joe Root shared the photograph on Instagram & wrote, “Good luck boys @englandcricket We will be watching and supporting you all the way! #cricketisback,” Root wrote along with the photograph on his Instagram account.
Currently, England is being led by Ben Stokes in the first Test Match which is currently being played in Southampton in a bio-secure environment with no spectators due to the coronavirus pandemic. Ben Stokes won the toss & choose to bat first.
The toss was delayed due to rains however the match has resumed again as the rain stopped & currently England is 34/1 after 15 overs.
Joe will join the team soon & will be leading England in the second Test match. It would be a busy summer for England team who will play series against Pakistan & Ireland after the end of the current Test Series. There are also talks of a limited-overs series with Australia.
