Former Indian fast bowler is all praise for Ben Stokes for his commendable performance & said that India will be unbeaten if they have such an outstanding all-rounder like Ben Stokes in the team.
Former Indian bowler Irfan Pathan on Tuesday said that the Indian Cricket Team will be unbeatable if the Indian team has a match-winning all-rounder like Ben Stokes. His remark came when England defeated the West Indies by 113 runs just because of Stokes all-round performance of 254 runs & three wickets including the crucial wicket of Jermaine Blackwood in the second Test. “Indian cricket will be unbeatable anywhere in the world if they have a match-winning all-rounder like @benstokes38 #match-winner,” Irfan tweeted.
Indian Cricketer & legendary batsman Sachin also heaped praise on “remarkable” England cricketer Ben Stokes for his all-round performance in the second Test match against West Indies. The legendary cricketer Sachin praised Stokes & said that England has been superb in the Second Test match.
The epic batsman also said that he is looking forward for the third & final Test match which could be the series decider. “Great comeback by England to win this Test. This is turning out to be a brilliant Test Series! England has been superb & the way @benstokes38 has played is just remarkable. It will be a great finale to this Series! Looking Eyes forward to the 3rd Test already!,” Sachin tweeted.
The England all-rounder had played an outstanding knock of 176 in the first innings of the second test match while in the second innings he scored a quickfire 78 not out from just 57 balls. With this win, England leveled the three-match series against West Indies. The third & final Test of the series will be played from July 24 at Manchester.
