The stage is set for a breathtaking cricketing tournament as Sri Lanka prepares to host the inaugural season of the Lanka T10 League. The prestigious tournament will be played from 12th to 23rd December 2023. Initially slated for June 2023, the tournament was rescheduled to December to align with Sri Lanka’s Domestic and International Cricketing Calendar, as deemed appropriate by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board.
The Lanka T10 League is a fresh addition to Sri Lanka’s annual cricketing calendar and promises to showcase some of the finest international stars, alongside the country’s top cricketing talents. This action-packed competition not only aims to entertain fans but also presents an opportunity for aspiring young cricketers to rub shoulders and play alongside their idols.
“We have full confidence that this tournament will be a resounding success and help Sri Lanka Cricket adapt to the evolving trends of the game,” expressed Mr. Shammi Silva, President of Sri Lanka Cricket.
Lanka T10 Legaue fixtures will be played at several venues across Sri Lanka
The tournament will feature six men’s teams and four women’s teams, representing various regional cricketing hubs. Each team will consist of a 16-player squad, supplemented by six foreign players. TTen Sports Management and TTen Global Sports, in collaboration with Innovative Production Group FZE (IPG), serve as the Lead Event Rights Partner for the tournament.

The matches will take place in renowned venues across Sri Lanka, with floodlights illuminating the playing arenas. The thrilling 10-over format will witness a blend of retired legendary cricketers, who have left their mark on the international stage, and young stars who are eager to make a mark in the sport.
