With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind.” Raina’s message came few minutes after MS Dhoni announced his retirement on his Official Instagram handle.
Suresh Raina is a prolific cricketer which is evident from his prolific records. He is among the few cricketers who scored centuries across all formats of cricket. He has played 18 tests matches, 226 ODIs & 78 T20 Internationals by registering around 8000 International runs on his name.
Rains is also known for his strong bond of friendship with former India Captain MS Dhoni. Indeed this message reflects the unbreakable bond that the duo shares. Suresh Raina & Dhoni together took their CSK franchise to win the prestigious IPL title for three times.
Virat Kohli also took to twitter to congratulate Raina for a wonderful career. Suresh Raina’s best innings was an unbeaten knock in a tricky World Cup Quarter Final against Australia during the 2011 World Cup Campaign.
