The BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had said that after the suspension of sponsorship contract with VIVO is not a financial crisis.
“I wouldn’t call it a financial crisis. It is just a little bit of a blip,” Ganguly said.
“BCCI, it’s a very strong foundation – the game, the players, the administrators in the past have made this game so strong that BCCI is able to handle all these blips,” he had said. “You keep your other options open. It is like Plan A and Plan B”, he signed off.
The IPL will start from September 19. But due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in India this season will be played on the grounds of UAE.
