


India Fast bowler, Mohit Sharma praised Wicket-keeper cum batsman MS. Dhoni and said that every cricketer in this world has a dream to play under the leadership of the former Indian Captain MS. Dhoni.
Applauding MS.Dhoni for his leadership qualities, Mohit Sharma said that the former Indian skipper always takes the responsibility of a loss by attending the media sessions himself while when the team wins a match he sends the match-winner to attend the media sessions. Mohit Sharma has played lots of cricket with Mahi for the IPL franchise CSK. The 31-year-old fast bowler praised Dhoni during an Instagram live session on the Official handle of the Delhi Capitals franchise.
“As a person, Dhoni is a very nice human being and a very simple person. I try to learn from him in the best possible manner, whenever you meet him he will never make you uncomfortable. He has that special quality of staying neutral all the time. I have played under him and in fact, every cricketer in the world wants to play under Dhoni”, Sharma said.
“Dhoni Bhai always keeps the team first, whenever the team loses he goes to attend the media sessions and take up the entire responsibility of the loss. But whenever the team wins he sends the match-winner to attend the press conference and the entire team understands the viewpoint of Dhoni”, Mohit Sharma added.
Mohit Sharma was selected to play for the Delhi Capitals in this year’s IPL but the tournament has been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. 38-year-old Dhoni is enjoying some good time away from the game. He last played competitive cricket during the 2019 world Cup. MS. Dhoni faced lots of criticism for his slow batting approach during India’s crucial matches in the high-end tournament.
This year Dhoni was also not featured in the BCCI’s centrally contracted players list. The board released the list of the central contract list of players from October 2019 to September 2020.
MS. Dhoni is the only Captain to win all major ICC trophies. Under his leadership, India also managed to attain the number one ranking in Test cricket. Earlier India’s coach Ravi Shastri said that Dhoni’s performance in the IPL 2020 league will decide about his fate in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup however due to the postponement of the IPL league to an indefinite period due to COVID-19, Dhoni will be placed in the selected Indian team squad for the ICC T20 World Cup is still a Question mark.
