The first day of the 1st Test match between England & West Indies was almost spoiled by sudden drizzles while the second day we got to see some power pack action by both the teams. England got a first crucial wicket of the day as Dom Bess removed Shai Hope at an early 16 runs.
Windies two-star batsmen Shai Hope & Kraigg Brathwaite were batting patiently keeping England bowlers at bay in the opening hour play on Day 3. However England bowlers Mark Wood & James Anderson were trying to remove them early with their strategic bowling technique. Anderson got succeeded by getting a LBW shout against Braithwaite but after going for a review the replay clearly indicated that there was no bat or gloves involved & England lost one of their reviews.
However England’s off spinner Dom Bess kept the hope of hosts by getting Shai Hope out at early 16. This is a major breakthrough for the hosts.
