Recently Yuzvendra Chahal has shared an old photo on Twitter with Rohit Sharma where the two players were seen having a gala time on the field.
India’s epic leg spinner Chahal has been quite active on social media platforms during the ongoing nationwide lockdown. Chahal has kept his fans entertained with his social media posts. The leg spinner shares a great friendship with Indian batsman Rohit Sharma which is visible both on & off the field. In his latest tweet, Chahal has shared an old photo with Rohit Sharma where the two players were seen laughing together on something. Chahal captioned his tweet by saying, “Because brothers don’t let each other wander in the dark alone”. Last month the duo were indulged in an Instagram live session as well.
Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the best leg spinners in the Indian team at the moment. The leg spinner had made his debut for India in the year 2016 against Zimbabwe in One-day International series. He was able to get only one wicket in his debut game but the statistics didn’t remain the same latter.
Till now Yuzvendra has played 52 ODIs for team India & has grabbed 91 wickets with an economy rate of 5.07. Chahal has also featured in 42 T20Is for the country and has proudly picked 55 wickets with an economy rate of 8.18.
Chahal has been an integral part of Virat Kohli led RCB in the IPL. Yuzvendra joined the RCB squad in the year 2014. In his IPL career, Yuzvendra has been featured in 84 matches & has grabbed 10 wickets with an economy rate of 7.78.
Chahal would have been showing his superlative game by fetching wickets in the RCB squad in the 13th edition of IPL but due to the increasing spread of COVID-19, the BCCI has decided to postpone the IPL as a precautionary measure.
