While Suresh Raina acknowledged the post & called it as his fan moment, it was Brian Lara’s hilarious response that left fans to roll with laughter. In the picture posted by the former West Indies Captain, Raina was seen wearing an over-sized trouser. Pointing it out, Lara took a dig at the Indian batsman’s fashion sense. “@sureshraina3 but oversize clothing is a trend of the past. #lastdance”, Brian Lara commented.
Raina just like other cricketers from across the world is spending a good time at home amid the ongoing lockdown which is imposed to curb the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic. During this lockdown period, Raina is very much active on social media & has kept his fans entertained by sharing his workout regime & entertaining them with his throwback pictures.
Recently, Raina has interacted with Yuzvendra Chahal in a live chat session on Instagram. During the chat, the left-handed batsman praised wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. “He is a top cricketer when he plays well, you become happy & he reminds you of Yuvraj Singh & Sehwag. He is as dominant as them, When he plays the flick shot it reminds you of Dravid as well”, Raina told Chahal.
Suresh Raina would have played in CSK franchise in the IPL 2020 but the cash-rich league got postponed indefinitely by the BCCI due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
