


Joining the list of his teammates Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli & Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane did his bit in the fight against COVID-19 by donating 10 lakhs in Chief Minister Relief Funds (Maharashtra).
India’s star batsman, Ajinkya Rahane took to his twitter handle on Sunday to reveal that he has donated a generous amount of 10 lakhs in the fight against Coronavirus Pandemic. Replying to a tweet which said that the India batsman has donated a generous amount of 10 lakhs, Ajinkya Rahane said that his contribution is just a drop in the ocean”. This is just my tiny bit and not more than a drop in the ocean. I will do my best to support the Government in these bad times and I request you all to stay at home, stay safe”, Ajinkya tweeted
On Saturday BCCI also announced that it will donate Rs 51 crore towards PM Cares Relief Fund while Suresh Raina also pledges to donate Rs 52 lakh to help the Government in their fight against the deadly virus. Earlier Sachin Tendulkar had also donated 50 lakhs towards the COVID-19 Pandemic. And latest joining the list of contributing in the fight against COVID-19 is Rohit Sharma who donated a whopping 50 lakhs to various relief funds.
The Coronavirus Pandemic has taken over 30,000 lives worldwide and it has infected more than 6,00,000 people across the globe. Let’s hope that after the nationwide lockdown gets over the number of COVID-19 cases gets reduced in India and all over the world.
