LSG vs SRH: Defiant Lucknow Super Giants clinched a stunning and crucial seven wickets victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad this evening at Hyderabad. With this victory, Lucknow once again stormed into the top four and claimed the 4th position whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad is now out of the contention for the Playoffs.
Winning the toss at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Aiden Markram made an unfortunate decision to bat first. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a commendable 182/4 total in their first innings of 20 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad was off to a decent start as Anmolpreet Singh (36), Rahul Tripathi (20) and Aiden Markram (28) put up splendid knocks as Hyderabad reached close to 90-runs in the first half of the innings. Furthermore, ace batsman Heinrich Klaasen (47) and Abdul Samad (37) anchored a sizzling partnership of 58 runs for the sixth wicket that helped Hyderabad to edge past the 180-run mark.
For Lucknow Super Giants, skipper Krunal Pandya (2/24) starred in the bowling attack whereas Yudhvir Singh, Avesh Khan, Yash Thakur, and Amit Mishra chipped in a wicket apiece.

Chasing a challenging total of 183 runs, Lucknow Super Giants was off to a sluggish start after losing Kyle Mayers (2) early on in the innings. Quinton de Kock (29) and Prerak Mankad then put up a vital 42-run stand for the second wicket.
Prerak Mankad (64)* stood strong and played an absolutely phenomenal knock. Mankad added another scintillating match-winning stand of 73-runs for the third wicket. Towards the end, Nicholas Pooran (44) took charge and played a commanding knock of 44 runs in just 13 balls as Lucknow hunted the target in 19.2 overs. Pooran remained unbeaten and stitched an unbeaten partnership of 55 runs alongside match-winner Prerak Mankad.
For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Glenn Philips (1/10) led the bowling attack whereas Mayank Markhande (1/39) and Abhishek Sharma (1/42) grabbed a wicket apiece but were expensive in their spell as Lucknow managed to snatch a comfortable victory in the championship.
