CSK squad will leave for the UAE on Friday however Harbhajan who is a part of CSK squad will not be boarding the flight along with his teammates due to certain personal reasons & will join his team within two weeks.
“Harbhajan will not be travelling with the team to Dubai due to certain personal reasons. He is expected to join the squad in two weeks,” a CSK official told PTI on Thursday. The 40-year-old spinner was also not part of the brief training camp that CSK conducted in Chennai.
The team will leave for Dubai on Friday around 12.45 pm the CSK official said. The star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja & Shardul Thakur has already missed the training camp due to certain personal reasons the CSK official said.
Thakur will join the squad on Wednesday while Jadeja will join the CSK squad on Thursday. The players have now been training in Chennai since August 15 under the guidance of bowling coach Laxmipathy Balaji for upcoming IPL beginning from September 19. The CSK Official said that all the players have tested negative for coronavirus in the second round of test conducted on Tuesday.
