


Eoin Morgan a talented England’s skipper is feeling very lucky to get time to spend with his newborn baby amid COVID-19. Eoin Morgan said that he is utilizing this forced break to spend more time with his newly born baby.
If the world was not under a lockdown Eoin Morgan would have been playing in the IPL lague for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The tournament was scheduled to commence from March 29th which was postponed till April 15th due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
“This is a very strange time and tough time for all of us, but for us (Him and his wife Tara Morgan), we have a newborn baby at home. He is just three weeks old so we are very lucky that we are making the most of this tough situation by spending time with my newborn baby. Everybody’s goal now is to hopefully not contract the virus and then come out of the other side healthy along with the rest of our family”, the official website of KKR quoted as Eoin morgan saying.
“It’s really amazing and very difficult to describe this feeling until you experience it. Everybody says that we were waiting for his arrival to know whether its true that this happiness is bigger than any other happiness in this world. But it’s such a unique feeling that you don’t experience anywhere else in this world. I must have changed almost thousand of nappies by now but I am loving this work. Truly enjoying it now”, Eoin Morgan added further.
If IPL 2020 would commence than he would have played under the leadership of Dinesh karthik in KKR team. The left-handed Morgan went on to praise Indian wicket-keeper batsman, saying that he has a great cricket mind.
“I have spoken to Dinesh Karthik a lot of times and have also met him before Christmas when I was in Mumbai. He is a fantastic guy a great cricketer and I am looking forward to help him in whatever way I can. While I am here to help, I also want to learn as much as I can from him. There are a lot of responsibilities and dynamics of being a captain when you are playing in India that I am not sure about it currently I will surely eating his brain the whole time”, Morgan added.
“I will naturally be myself and will try to give my best as I can just the rest of the International cricketers. It’s going to be fascinating to see when and how we will get the chance to play IPL and how the competitions will be scheduled because everybody is going to come out of isolation and will be extremely excited, will be dying to play, batting, bowling, fielding the whole lot”, Eoin Morgan said.
Talking about Eoin’s achievements, he had led England to win the first-ever 50-over World Cup last year after England managed to defeat New-Zealand in the finals on the basis of the boundary count-back rule.
